Nixa Nursing and Rehab is actively seeking qualified candidates interested in joining our Nursing Services team as a Nursing Assistant! This is an entry level position, and requires completion of our paid Certified Nursing Assistant program classes as well as paid on the job training all of which is provided by Nixa Nursing and Rehab. Our continued commitment to improving the quality of our services while ensuring compassion and individualized care is delivered to all those in need, requires a team approach that encompasses all areas of patient care. Our Nursing Services department is dedicated to providing residents with Quality Focused care delivered with compassion that is founded on resident choice. Nursing assistants will work directly with their team to ensure residents receive the care needed under the direct supervision of their team leader, or charge nurse. At Nixa Nursing and Rehab our team-based approach to care requires candidates that are knowledgeable in their entire scope of practice some duties might include but are not limited to;

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily living within your current scope of practice.

• Accurately and efficiently deliver resident care in accordance with each resident’s individualized plan of care.

• Documentation of resident activities of daily living.

• Monitor and report changes in condition to the charge nurse

• Utilizing the residents individualized care plan provide services that promote residents independence, choice, and safety.

• Other duties as assigned.

Nursing Assistants hired must complete training, including class and hands on training, within the first 120 days, this training is offered by Nixa Nursing and Rehab
