SUMMARY
ย 
The Facilities Grounds Technician performs entry-level groundskeeping, facility support, event setup, and light maintenance duties across the Boulevard Brewing Company campus. This position works under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Lead and supports the safety, appearance, and operational readiness of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, event spaces, and other assigned locations. The position assists with routine facility upkeep, seasonal grounds maintenance, event support, and other duties as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs entry-level groundskeeping and light facilities maintenance duties throughout the campus, including buildings, parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, and public spaces.
  • Assists with snow removal activities including shoveling, salting, and maintaining safe pedestrian walkways during weather events.
  • Replaces light bulbs, lamps and other basic components as directed.
  • Performs light painting, touch-up work, and minor cosmetic repairs to maintain facility appearance.
  • Assists with routine HVAC maintenance tasks, including filter inspections and replacements.
  • Collects, transports, and disposes of trash, recycling, and scrap metal from designated areas.
  • Conducts routine inspections of landscaped areas and grounds to identify litter, debris, safety concerns, and maintenance needs
  • Performs litter control and exterior trash cleanup around the campus
  • Sets up and tears down event room rental arrangements, including moving tables, chairs, equipment, and other event furnishings per event staff direction
  • Works under the direct supervision of the facility maintenance lead and communicates daily
  • Complete initial and ongoing safety trainings
  • Assists with other general facility repairs as directed.
