Job description

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.
Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to play a pivotal role in event management and attendee tracking through Microsoft Forms, ensuring HIPAA compliance and providing exceptional member support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Track RSVP counts via MS Forms and maintain attendee lists.
  • Close events at capacity and send HIPAA-compliant mass BCC Outlook emails.
  • Manage event check-ins and coordinate printing/paper applications.
  • Provide member phone/email support.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and familiarity with healthcare/insurance.
  • Prior event management or relevant administrative experience (not entry-level).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Forms, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.

Skills
  • Proficient in MS Forms & Excel, including data export, cleaning, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Experience with BCC & high-volume email operations via Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented for event capacity management and waitlist maintenance.

Schedule/Shift
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust to a 8:30 AM start time if required to stay until 5:30 PM.
