Qualifications:
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:1. Experience: At least three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in golf course maintenance or a related field, including one (1) year in a supervisory or lead position.
OR
2. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that includes at least one year of experience performing duties described above, to include lead or supervisory responsibility. Relevant education may include coursework in agronomy, turf management, horticulture, or a related field.
Additional Requirements: Candidates must have a working knowledge of pesticide application, brush control, and safety requirements.
NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.** Highly Preferred - Resume must demonstrate experience in the highly preferred criteria.**- Professional affiliation or certification (e.g., GCSAA).
- Experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
- Experience managing budgets, irrigation systems, and equipment programs.
