Job description

Entry-Level Glass Installer โ€“ Join the American Glass Team!

American Glass is growing, and weโ€™re looking for a motivated, dependable Entry-Level Glass Installer to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things the right way, and wants to learn a skilled trade. Prior glass experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing:

  • Assist with measuring, cutting, and installing glass for windows, doors, storefronts, and other residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Learn how to install frames, hardware, and related components with accuracy and care.
  • Help inspect existing glass installations and identify repair or replacement needs.
  • Use and learn specialized tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and sanders.
  • Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Work alongside experienced team members to build your skills and knowledge in the glass industry.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • No prior glazing experience required; construction, installation, or hands-on trade experience is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds independently and repeatedly.
  • Ability to safely work at heights and use ladders as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first attitude.
  • Clean and professional appearance.
  • Ability to provide basic hand tools required.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record required.
