Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer – Soil Mechanics, Site Investigations, Foundation Engineering, CMT

West Chester, PA (Hybrid Field & Office)

Seeking a motivated Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer with strong interest in soil mechanics, subsurface investigations, foundation engineering, earthwork, and construction materials testing (CMT). Responsible for supporting geotechnical investigations, soil borings, site assessments, infiltration testing, foundation evaluations, laboratory testing review, technical reporting, and construction-phase observations across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Candidates will gain hands-on experience with foundation systems, retaining walls, slope stability, groundwater analysis, deep foundations, site development, and geotechnical field investigations. Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills required. Experience or exposure to ASTM standards, geotechnical laboratory testing, CMT, special inspections, stormwater infiltration testing, and field engineeringpreferred. Ideal candidates should be comfortable working in both field and office environments while supporting multidisciplinary engineering projects.
