Working at our Terre Haute Facility
Our Terre Haute site is responsible for a diverse product mix supplying structural components and cores for both military and commercial engines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Maintain a safe and clean work environment; follow all safety and EHS policies and procedures.
3. Follow all GE and regulatory requirements.
4. Demonstrated experience using CAD software to create, revise, and maintain technical drawings.
5. Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
6. Working knowledge of drafting principles, revision control, and document management processes.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical documentation.
8. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple assignments and respond to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
10. Cooperative in meeting schedules; demonstrate a teamwork attitude toward others in the department and facility.
This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
JOB DUTIES (INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED)
1. Gather prints and other information from Document Control.
2. Revise and recreate existing drawings using current forms and standards.
3. Add balloon numbers to customer blueprints for check sheet correlation.
4. Assist with the coordination of drawing requests.
5. Create and maintain master drawings.
6. Verify accuracy of drawings and associated documentation.
7. Review blueprints for revisions and communicate revisions to engineers.
8. Modify existing CAD files with supporting documentation.
9. Create complex details and large mechanical assembly drawings.
10. Model 3-D drawings of components and assemblies.
11. Must be able to perform the essential functions of an Entry Level and Intermediate Level CAD Technician; may be required to perform applicable duties within the team/cell/department with minimal supervision (Advanced expectation).
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
