Job description

POSITION SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for general repairs and maintenance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs within level of ability and training. Responsible for monitoring, operating and maintaining all mechanical equipment.

Responsible for maintaining physical building including structural and cosmetic Keeps the mechanical rooms, electrical and other work areas clean. Provides proper safety and security to company assets, including personnel. Assists personnel with carpentry, plumbing, welding, masonry, boiler, electrical and HVAC systems.

Understands and follows all applicable Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures. Adheres to all rules and regulations pertaining to the mechanical maintenance department. Maintains daily log, maintenance forms, and requested reports for management.

Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

Performs other duties as assigned.
