POSITION TITLE: GameTechnician I
DEPARTMENT: Games Performance GRADE/FLSA STATUS: H11-Non-Exempt
BADGE TYPE/COLOR: Key--Blue
REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Games Performance, DR Game Performance Supervisor
SUPERVISES: N/A
JOB SUMMARY:
This is an entry level position that provides service to internal and external guest while ensuring gaming devices receive maintenance, repairs, perform projects, and test gaming equipment in a timely manner to ensure maximum opportunity of availability.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on gaming devices
  • Maintain a sense of urgency in responding to calls over the radio
  • Take initiative to provide internal and external service to guest, coworkers and supervisors
  • Conduct manufacturers I/O tests
  • Observe repairs conducted by higher Level Game Technicians
  • Invoke service recovery
  • Perform ticket in/out, and multi-denomination testing on gaming devices in accordance with internal controls
  • Translate and explain game recall, pay tables and logs
  • Isolate and diagnose repairs on gaming devices, sub-component, and related equipment
  • Install, convert and move gaming devices
  • Posses the ability to work in a individual, or team environment
  • Maintain technical brand certification (yearly)
  • Demonstrate high levels of required service skills on a consistent basis
  • Delight our guests with outstanding service
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One year electronics Training, Certification, Technical School or experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required with no more than one (1) DUI convictions or 3 or more moving violations, 3 or more traffic citation convictions in the past 3 years (from date of conviction) or conviction for suspension or conviction for at fault accident within the last 3 years preferred
  • Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
    • Basic electronics knowledge
    • Use of hand tools
    • Willingness to learn
    • Excellent attendance record in previous positions
    • Attention to detail
    • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
    • Follow written and oral communications
    • Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Use multi-meter (AC/DC and continuity test)
      *Use of manufacturers test equipment

*Not required at time of hire for Level I; may be learned during probationary period as agreed upon at time of hire.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
  • Must be able to lift 300 pounds using a dolly
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds with team lifting
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds manually
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of casino
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, crawl and grip items
  • Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibrations, crowds and air quality including secondhand smoke
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
