About the Role

We are looking for a new Senior Unreal Engineer to join our team. As a Game Programmer you will be working in cross-functional teams involved in different stages of the development of AAA quality titles.

The Skills

  • At least 5 years experience of game development.
  • You'll need to understand the high-level basics of online architecture and integration with frontend.
  • Solid technical knowledge across multiple areas, most importantly implementing games using Unreal.
  • Experience with using generative AI for conversational games, mainly using with In-World API and agents but Bedrock or similar tools.
  • Expert knowledge of C++, good knowledge of C# and engine-level AI tools within Unreal Engine. Knowledge in Character and animations setup, including real-time Lip-sync solutions and Metahuman
  • General LLM knowledge - LLM text analysis and response generation, Text-to-speech output using a voice clone, Guardrails filtering, speech recognition by using Whisper or other similar LLMs
  • Excellent soft skills and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Experience in developing technical architecture and implementing design principles and patterns.
  • Experience interfacing with and guiding frontend and backend teams in producing gameplay features.
  • Experience using Jenkins or other CI/CD toolchains.
  • Proficient in working with Unreal Engine.
  • Fair knowledge of individual game engine Components (Rendering, AI, Networking, Navigation, Physics, UI).
  • Experience in optimizing for FPS and memory consumption.
  • Solid knowledge of design patterns and coding architectural principles.
  • Experience in debugging and profiling large code bases.

Nice to Have

  • Shipped at least one PC/Console title.
  • Good understanding of cross-platform game development.
  • 3D rendering programming experience (DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, Gnmx).
  • Good understanding of client-server communication & socket-based network protocols.
  • Experience using Unit Test frameworks and Integration Test frameworks.
