POSITION SUMMARY
An Andretti Bartender is a part-time role with the potential for earning tips. Bartenders are responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet Guest and takes orders within Andretti guidelines, always exceeding Guests expectations.
  • Prepare standard and specialty mixed drinks. Pour wine and beer quickly, accurately, and without waste.
  • Deliver food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards.
  • Collect payment for all items purchased and consumed and operate the Point-of-Sale system with ease.
  • Count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift for accuracy and ensure adequate amount of change is present.
  • Maintain an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables.
  • Order and maintain liquor and bar supplies, display bottles in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
  • Properly dispose of broken glassware.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health regulations.
  • Sufficiently handle and accurately count money.
  • Check identification of any guest consuming alcohol.
  • Follow all state and company guidelines regarding beverage services.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assist with Guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.

Skills amp; Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
  • Be able to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays and weekends.
