Position Overview

We are looking for aFull Stack SoftwareDeveloperto join our team. This person will be collaborating with other .NET developers inmaintainingand evolving our payment platform. Our technology stack primarily uses Azure,.NETand T-SQL. Candidates should have5years or more experience with these technologies to be successful in the role.We'realso looking for someone who is ready to revamp and modernize parts of the platform,and who is excited toleveragenewer technologies where they add value. Ideal candidates are continual learners who strive to always look fornew technologiesand find ways to implement them as solutions to solve business problems.It'sa strong asset if you have modern web technology experience (e.g., React, Node.js) and performance tooling such as Redis for caching.

This is a Hybrid role that will require 1 to 2 days per week in the office at our downtown Montreal office.

Role and Responsibilities:Full Stack Software Developer

  • Design, implement, andmaintainend-to-end secure architecture solutionsleveragingAzure technologies, including but not limited to Azure Front Door and Azure Application Gateway, API Management Gateway, Service Bus, Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
  • Write high quality,performance, secure,scalable,and maintainable code.
  • Solution design, code,unit-test, and document web applications, web APIs,SOAP/REST web services.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance with relevant regulations, must understandcryptographystandards.
  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing actionplansand identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Contribute to the modernization of existing systems by introducing newer technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns whereappropriate.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and services to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Design and implement solutions thatleveragemodern web and cloud technologies alongside existing .NET and Azure services.
  • Ability to work on core and support projectswhen necessary.
  • Demonstrateproficiencyworking with MS-SQL Server databaseand T-SQL.
  • Partner with various business and IT stakeholders in defining domain architecture strategies.

Experience

  • Minimum5Years's experience in developingAzurecloud solutions.
  • Bachelor'sdegree in computer scienceor similar is ideal.Azure Solutions Architecture Expert Certificationas well as ITIL v4 foundation certificationor similar is ideal.
  • Strong background inmicroservices,API Management Gateways, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, Service Bus, Azure Resource Manager (orTerraform) isrequired.
  • Experience or strong interest in modern web technologies such as React and Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience using distributed caching technologies (e.g., Redis) to improve application performance and scalability is an asset.
  • Preference will be given to candidateswithdemonstratedexperienceworking with .NET(Core|Nuke),ASP(Classic|.NETMVC), VB.NET, C#, PowerShell, Python,T-SQL,SOAPand REST.
  • Experience working with different stakeholders across the company, including non-technical roles.
  • Experience working in a FinTech, payments,financeor banking organization is an asset.
  • Azure Cloud-native development is a plus.
  • Strong experience using OWASP Web Application Security risks & mitigation strategies.

  • This role will work closely within our development team which is located across Canada and will also work with internal stakeholders that are located in Canada and Internationally. The ability to communicate in English with team members and internal stakeholders is essential. The ability to communicate in French is a strong asset to communicate with other individuals within the Montreal office.

Role et responsabilites : Developpeur logiciel Full Stack

  • Concevoir, mettre en uvre et assurer la maintenance de solutions d'architecture securisees de bout en bout en tirant parti des technologies Azure, notamment Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway, API Management Gateway, Service Bus, Logic Apps et Azure Functions.
  • Rediger du code de haute qualite, performant, securise, evolutif et facile a maintenir.
    Concevoir des solutions, coder, tester unitairement et documenter des applications web, des API web et des services web SOAP/REST.
  • Mettre en uvre des mesures de securite et des bonnes pratiques pour garantir la protection des donnees et la conformite aux reglementations applicables ; une bonne comprehension des normes de cryptographie est requise.
  • Ameliorer les systemes existants en analysant les objectifs metier, en preparant des plans d'action et en identifiant les domaines a modifier et a ameliorer.
  • Contribuer a la modernisation des systemes existants en introduisant de nouvelles technologies, de nouveaux frameworks et de nouveaux modeles architecturaux lorsque cela est approprie.
  • Evaluer et recommander des outils, des frameworks et des services pour ameliorer les performances, l'evolutivite et la maintenabilite.
  • Concevoir et mettre en uvre des solutions qui exploitent les technologies web et cloud modernes parallelement aux services .NET et Azure existants.
  • Capacite a travailler sur des projets principaux et de support lorsque cela est necessaire.
    Faire preuve de maitrise de la base de donnees MS-SQL Server et du langage T-SQL.

Experience

  • Au moins 5 ans d'experience dans le developpement de solutions cloud Azure.
  • Un diplome de licence en informatique ou equivalent est souhaitable. La certification Azure Solutions Architecture Expert ainsi que la certification ITIL v4 Foundation ou equivalente sont souhaitables.
  • Une solide experience en microservices, API Management Gateways, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, Service Bus et Azure Resource Manager (ou Terraform) est requise.
  • Une experience ou un interet marque pour les technologies web modernes telles que React et Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) est considere comme un atout majeur.
