BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

A Business Systems Analyst on the Fraud Protection Team, you will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and implementing systems to prevent, detect and manage fraud within the organization. Using your knowledge of business systems and industry requirements, you will design and develop new systems or new ways to use existing systems to accomplish business objectives.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements; translate into clear metrics, definitions, and wireframes.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain dashboards in MicroStrategy (or Tableau/Power BI/Looker), including filters, drill paths, and role-based access.
  • Build reports linking operational metrics to fraud outcomes (losses, false positives, dispute cycle times) to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyzing complex business partners’ operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes, functions, and systems
  • Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
  • Prepare clear summaries for stakeholders (weekly updates, incident recaps).
  • Maintain data quality: validate report inputs, reconcile discrepancies across systems, and escalate data issues to improve accuracy and reliability of fraud reporting.

On a given day you’ll be conducting feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency, and technical viability of solutions to business problems. If you’re an organized, creative problem-solver, this could be the role for you.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Business Systems or IT related experience: 2 years or more
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Abilities:
    • Plan, prioritize, and organize effectively
    • Manage multiple projects
    • Quickly identify business problems and provide solutions
    • Analyze and interpret data
    • Communicate effectively across all levels of management
    • Identify and automate manual reporting and reconciliation processes
  • Skills:
    • Clear, concise communication and documentation; effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with large, complex datasets
    • Advanced SQL skills: write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries (CTEs, joins, window functions, and other advanced functions)
    • BI and data visualization experience: MicroStrategy (preferred) or Tableau/Power BI/Looker; dashboard design, metric definition, and role-based permissions
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel for data analysis and validation
  • Hybrid Schedule: Four in-office days weekly
