Entry level floral jobs are positions in the floral industry that require little to no prior experience and serve as a starting point for those interested in becoming florists or floral designers. Typical duties include preparing flowers, assembling simple arrangements, assisting with deliveries, caring for plants, and maintaining the cleanliness of the shop. These roles provide valuable hands-on experience and training for individuals looking to build a career in floral design.

What are the typical daily responsibilities for an entry level floral job?

In an entry-level floral role, daily tasks usually include preparing and processing fresh flowers, assisting senior florists with arrangement designs, maintaining the cleanliness of the work area, and organizing inventory. You may also help with restocking supplies, watering plants, and setting up displays in the shop. Entry-level florists often interact with walk-in customers, take orders, and assist with deliveries, providing valuable experience in both customer service and floral design fundamentals.
