Mobius has an exciting position for a highly motivated, mid-level Intermediate Flight Test Analyst supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Working on the TEAMS-Next Test Support contract, the successful candidate will serve as an Advisory and Assistance Services contractor providing programmatic, technical, analytical and execution support to MDA’s Director of Flight Test (DTF) as they integrate the Space Based Interceptor (SBI) into MDA’s flight test program. DTF has overall responsibility for pre-mission activities, element integration, mission management and execution of all MDA flight tests. The Intermediate Analyst position requires a quick learner who can support and lead mission teams during planning and execution of flight tests. Redstone Arsenal – Our MDA analysts and engineers work in modern, well-appointed government facilities in Huntsville, Alabama, otherwise known as “Rocket City.”  Huntsville is the hub of missile and space research and development.  You will collaborate with other missile defense experts – military, government civilians, and contractors from Mobius and other companies.  Our team of experts helps the Government manage planning, development, analysis and delivery of state-of the art sensors, weapons, communications, and command/control systems. Based on government need at the time of hire, the selected candidate will be placed in one of two DTF contractor support positions: System Mission Manager (SMM) support or Flight Test Execution support.  Duties and responsibilities for each are below.  The required qualifications are the same for both positions. Duties of an Intermediate Analyst may include:  Develop and maintain mission documentation (e.g. checklists, test control structures, test ops schedules) Develop mission checklists and provide real-time updates to various stakeholders and mission assets Support all phases of test planning, training, and execution of Tier 1/2/3 test environments in accordance with the current Flight Test Concept of Operations (CONOPS). Perform analysis / programmatic review of test pre- and post-events/activities, provide lessons learned inputs and support panel reviews. Produce test procedures detailing time-critical events supporting the Mission Countdown Events (CDE). Update mission documentation based on calendar adjustments Support test integration and planning meetings, Phase Reviews, and data archival meetings, as directed. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to develop and maintain briefing charts for the weekly or bi-weekly Mission Execution Team Working Groups (METWG) meetings Provide direct on-console support to key Mission Execution Team (MET) leadership, including the Mission (MTD), Associate Operations (AOTD), and Sensors (SNTD) Test Directors during mission execution. Coordinate, integrate, and support the execution across all phases of mission flight test events Assist with the development of planning meetings, MDA technical reviews, and provide on-site support to System Mission Managers (SMM) at deployed locations for assigned flight test missions. Develop and refine mission planning, readiness, and execution support documentation. Prepare decision-quality materials such as executive level briefings and supporting documentation (white papers, fact sheets, status reports, progress reports, and information papers) for senior level reviews and mission milestone decision meetings. Facilitate the development of planning meetings, MDA technical reviews, and other meetings, as directed. Develop, review, and coordinate responses/inputs to numerous MDA and Director of Test (DT) Program Office-generated actions covering a wide range of internal and external topics. Provide on-site support to (SMM) at deployed locations for assigned flight test missions. Identify, generate and manage schedules, requirements and other documentation for flight test operations. Develop and present inputs for weekly test community meetings and working groups to include briefing charts and meeting attendance. Perform stakeholder coordination across multi-disciplinary working groups and integrated teams to resolve issues affecting flight testing and schedule de-confliction, to coordinate reviews and to provide input for all flight test event documentation. Qualifications 7 years of relevant experience. 10 years or more of relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficiency in Microsoft Project desired Comprehensive knowledge of Flight Test Operations is highly desired. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and assist in solving complex problems involving test planning, integration, execution, and analysis. Ability to utilize, adapt, and develop analytic techniques and processes for both technical and administrative support activities.
