The selected candidate will support integration, verification, validation, and field-testing activities for advanced air and missile defense systems. This role requires a hands-on engineer with experience developing test procedures, executing laboratory and field tests, operating electrical and RF test equipment, and documenting test results in support of developmental and operational test objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with systems, software, electrical, and integration engineers to verify system performance and support delivery of mission-critical capabilities to U.S. Army customers.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Develop, review, and execute subsystem and system-level test procedures in support of integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities.
  • Generate detailed test reports, data packages, discrepancy reports, and technical documentation supporting program milestones and customer reviews.
  • Perform hands-on testing using laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
  • Support RF testing and troubleshooting of radar, communications, and weapon system interfaces.
  • Plan and execute electrical environmental testing including EMI/EMC, radiation effects, power quality, and other qualification activities.
  • Support development and maintenance of Special Test Equipment (STE), test fixtures, and automated test solutions.
  • Perform integration and troubleshooting of complex hardware and software systems in laboratory and field environments.
  • Support requirements verification and traceability activities through test planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Analyze test data, identify anomalies, perform root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in developmental testing, system demonstrations, and government test events at customer and range facilities.
  • Support fielding activities and operational assessments in support of U.S. Army customers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.

Basic Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related STEM discipline with 4-8 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
  • Experience developing and executing electrical, integration, or system-level test procedures.
  • Experience generating formal test reports and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory electrical test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Experience supporting RF testing, troubleshooting, and analysis activities.
  • Experience supporting electrical environmental testing including EMI/EMC, radiation, or similar qualification efforts.

  • Experience with test automation tools such as Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar environments.
  • Familiarity with requirements verification methodologies.
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in laboratory, manufacturing, and field environments.
  • Self-starter capable of independently planning and executing test activities.
  • Experience working directly with government customers and test agencies.
