Entry level fish hatchery jobs involve assisting with the breeding, hatching, and rearing of fish in controlled environments. Typical duties include feeding fish, cleaning tanks and equipment, monitoring water quality, and recording data about fish growth and health. These positions may also require helping with fish releases, maintenance tasks, and supporting senior hatchery staff. Entry-level workers often receive on-the-job training and do not always need prior experience, though an interest in biology or aquaculture can be helpful.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level fish hatchery worker?
