Job description

Fred Smith Company is currently seeking applicants for multiple Entry Level Engineer positions. We are a heavy civil contractor working in the commercial site work, public infrastructure and asphalt markets in the greater Raleigh area. These positions are entry level roles for recent graduates with Civil Engineering or Construction Management degrees. Successful candidates will participate in our Engineer Training Program that encompasses time spent both in the field and in the office learning the different facets of our operation.
Job Requirements:
  • Must have a two or four year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other field aligned with Heavy Civil Construction.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License with a positive driving history.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Ability to ready, write and communicate effectively and work cohesively within a team environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
