William Tuttle Agency

Job description

The William Tuttle Agency was the first Farmers Insurance agency in the southern Minnesota district to break $100,000 in production in a single month, and we're just getting started. We're actively expanding our team, and we're hiring entry-level sales associates to help us grow by connecting with potential clients and setting appointments for our producers.

We provide the leads, the training, the scripts, and the systems. You bring the work ethic and the willingness to learn. No insurance experience needed. No license needed. No degree needed. We train you on everything.

This is not a sit-around, answer-the-phone-when-it-rings kind of job. This is a performance-driven role where your income is a direct reflection of your effort. The more appointments you set, the more you earn. If that sounds like something you want to be part of, keep reading.

COMPENSATION

We believe the people who produce the most should earn the most. That's how we built this agency, and that's how we pay. Our compensation is built around rewarding results, not time in a chair.

Commission per appointment for every qualified appointment you set and every live transfer you complete. The more you produce, the more you earn.

Performance bonuses based on individual activity milestones and team production goals

Flexible compensation plans tailored to how you want to build your career here. We'll walk you through the options during the interview.

Associates who follow our process, stay consistent, and hit their daily goals can expect to see between $36,000 and upwards of $56,000 per year. That said, there is no ceiling on what you can earn. The harder you work, the more you make. It's that simple.

You're not just dialing phones. You're the front line of a fast-growing agency. Every appointment you set turns into a policy, and every policy grows the agency. Your work directly drives results, and your pay reflects that.

The best part is you get real sales experience, real coaching, and a real income without needing any prior experience, licensing, or financial risk. We invest in you from day one.

OUR CULTURE

We run a competitive, winning culture where the standard is results, and the environment is one where people genuinely want to see each other succeed. We hold each other accountable, celebrate performance, and invest deeply in the people on our team.

We're a growth-obsessed team. Every morning, we invest time in personal development. We watch self-improvement content together, sharpen our mindset, and get locked in before the day starts. We believe that if you're growing as a person, you're growing as a professional. That culture of constant improvement is what separates us from every other agency out there.

We are not a passive, maintenance-based agency. We move fast, coach hard, and reward people who show up ready to work. If that sounds like your kind of place, you're in the right spot.

CAREER GROWTH

We develop our team members into leaders. This role is your entry point, and your path here can go wherever your ambition takes you.

Entry-Level Sales Associate > Sales Producer > Senior Producer > Agency Leadership

Top-performing associates move into full producer roles where they earn uncapped commission on every policy they write and build their own book of business

Access to Farmers' Protege Program, which is a structured pathway to owning your own Farmers Insurance agency

Ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and skill development built into your role

Advancement isn't just possible here. It's expected.

BENEFITS

  • Commission per appointment for every qualified appointment you set and every live transfer
  • Performance bonuses for hitting activity and production milestones
  • Comprehensive paid training and ongoing coaching
  • No license or degree required
  • Fully remote or hybrid schedule, so you can work from anywhere in Minnesota
  • In-office positions also available at our Owatonna location
  • Paid Audible subscription, because we invest in your growth, on us
  • Personal development culture built into every morning. We start the day sharpening our mindset together.
  • Clear path to move up into a full sales producer role with uncapped commission
  • Full-time and part-time options available
  • Backing of Farmers Insurance, one of the largest and most recognized carriers in the country

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I have to buy my own leads or cold call friends and family?

Absolutely not. We provide all of the leads. Inbound calls and digital leads are all provided by the agency. You will never be asked to pressure your personal network. You show up, work the leads, and set appointments.

Do I need any experience?

No. You don't need any insurance, sales, or call center experience to apply. We train you on everything. The scripts, the systems, the CRM, all of it. What matters is your attitude, your coachability, and your willingness to put in the work.

Do I need a license or a degree?

No. This role does not require any license or degree. If you eventually move into a full producer role, we cover 100% of your licensing costs at that point. But for this position, no credentials are needed.

How does compensation work?

You earn commission on every qualified appointment you set and every live transfer you complete. The more you produce, the more you make. We also have performance bonuses based on activity milestones and team production goals. We offer flexible compensation plans designed around how you want to build your career, and we'll walk you through your options during the interview process. There is no ceiling on what you can earn.

Can I do this part-time?

Yes. We have both full-time and part-time positions available. If you're in school, working another job, or just want to start with fewer hours, we can work with you on a schedule that fits.

Is this a remote position?

Yes, this role is fully remote. You can work from anywhere in Minnesota. We also have in-office positions available at our Owatonna location if you prefer that environment. Either way, you'll have everything you need to succeed from day one.

What does a typical day look like?

Your day starts with a team huddle where we review goals, watch a personal development video together, and get our mindset right for the day. From there, you're on the phones. Calling leads, having conversations, booking appointments, and completing live transfers. You'll have coaching check-ins throughout the week and access to leadership anytime you need support. The pace is fast, the energy is high, and every day you're getting better at sales.

What does career growth look like?

Every associate has access to a clear advancement track. You start as an Entry-Level Sales Associate, move into a full Sales Producer role where you earn uncapped commission on every policy you write and build your own book of business, then advance to Senior Producer and into agency leadership. High performers also have access to the Farmers Protege Program, which is a structured pathway to owning and operating your own Farmers Insurance agency.

Is this seasonal or long-term?

That's up to you. If you want a seasonal or short-term position, we're open to that. But if you want to stick around and build a career, this is designed to be a stepping stone into a full sales producer role where the income potential is significant, and the growth opportunities are real.
