Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities

  • Check and communicate oil level to teammates
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed

Service Technician Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Complete all warranty documentation to factory standards, return warranty parts and cores per manufacturer.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience at an automotive dealership preferred
  • Years of experience vary per position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
