Job description

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides and documents preventive and corrective maintenance on medical equipment and systems, performing substantial maintenance, safety testing and routine repairs. Complies with UH, departmental and section policies and procedures. Uses and cares for equipment and supplies properly. Maintains professional working relations with customers, staff, and contractors.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in biomedical engineering technology or related field or equivalent experience is required. Entry Level to three years of experience in a hospital biomedical engineering department or full service biomedical equipment service company is preferred.
