Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Hardware Engineer to join our Custom Engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience who are looking to develop their skills in hardware design and embedded systems.
The selected candidate will support the design, development, and testing of hardware I/O products used in data acquisition and real-time computing environments. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on experience in circuit design, debugging, and system integration, while contributing to the development of high-performance hardware solutions.
Must be a US Citizen only. Unableto hire applicants who are dual citizens, green card holders, or visa holders for this position.
Essential Duties:
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of hardware I/O board devices.
  • Support hardware testing, debugging, and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to support driver integration and basic firmware interaction.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to engineering discussions.
  • Help document hardware designs, test procedures, and engineering changes.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and assist with customer related inquiries as needed.
  • Support evaluation of new technologies and tools relevant to hardware development.
  • Assist in preparing technical input for project planning and quotations.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional team members.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience acceptable).
  • Exposure to hardware design, digital/analog circuits, or embedded systems is preferred.

Skills and Attributes:
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuit design and testing principles.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a technical engineering role.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state
