AUTOMOTIVE SALES CONSULTANTS NEEDED

Barton Ford in Suffolk is expanding its current Sales Force and is seeking experienced Automotive Sales Consultants who are ready to hit the ground running. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in sales and customer service to sell both new and pre-owned vehicles. The role will involve working with walk-in customers, handling phone inquiries, and managing internet leads right from the start!

We offer:

WEEKLY PAY plus Incentive Pay including COMMISSIONS and BONUSES

MONTHLY GUARANTEE - $2400

- Six-figure income potential

Our sales consultants spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options. They commit to becoming automotive sales experts and gaining in-depth knowledge of FORD vehicles and technology. They perform test drives, demonstrate vehicles, complete quotes, follow up with prospective customers via email and voicemail, and also follow up with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and generate leads.

We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses the following qualities:

- Self-motivation and quick learning abilities

- Ability to follow directions

- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills

- Recent or prior experience in automotive or big ticket sales

- Professional appearance

- Ability to work well with the public and co-workers

- Flexibility with working hours, including Saturdays

- Proficiency in using computers for training, daily work plans, and email correspondence with prospects

- Capability to follow up on unsold prospects through phone, mail, and internet

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

- Sales Experience: 2 years (Preferred but not required)

- Any sales experience will be considered with a consistent work history

- Applicants with a stable background in customer service will also be considered

- Outgoing personality with expertise in relationship development (i.e., a “people person”)

- Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software, and internet proficiency

- Professional appearance

Upon completion of the interview process, candidates will be REQUIRED to pass a criminal background check, a pre-employment drug test, and have maintained a clean driving record within the last seven (7) years.
