Overview
HCI Systems, Inc. (HCI) is hiring motivated, outgoing individuals to join our fast-growing team as Entry-Level Construction Sales Representatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals or individuals looking to transition into B2B sales and learn the fire life safety and low voltage industry from the ground up.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect and engage new customers through calls, drop-ins, networking, and outreach. Prospective clients include general contractors, electricians, end users and consultants
  • Develop relationships with facility managers, property managers, contractors, and business owners
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate fire/life safety and low voltage system solutions
  • Prepare pricing proposals including construction estimates with support from senior team members inclusive of reviewing construction documents and specifications.
  • Support business development and client retention efforts
  • Maintain accurate activity and opportunities in the CRM
  • Collaborate closely with the construction team to support customer satisfaction and onboarding
  • Represent HCI professionally in the field, helping drive visibility and brand awareness

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
  • Comfortable speaking with customers in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam & Excel)
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Construction, electrical, or technical background is a plus-but not required

Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in B2B sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role, or a strong interest in launching a career in construction sales
• Comfortable talking to people and initiating conversations
• Strong work ethic and willingness to spend time in the field
• Positive, coachable, and motivated to grow in a sales career
• Interest in fire/life safety, low voltage systems, or commercial building services
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
