Job Summary:
We are hiring an Electrical Helper to join our team supporting the installation and assembly of generator electrical systems. This is a great opportunity for candidates with entry-level electrical experience looking to grow in manufacturing, industrial, or power generation environments.
This role involves installing conduit, wiring, control panels, and electrical components, following blueprints and schematics, and assisting with troubleshooting and repairs. Candidates with experience in electrical assembly, wiring, industrial maintenance, or construction electrical work are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do:
  • Install electrical conduit, wiring, switches, control panels, and related components
  • Follow electrical drawings and work instructions to complete projects accurately
  • Assist electricians with troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements
  • Assemble enclosures, tanks, and mechanical/electrical components using hand and power tools
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and aerial lifts as needed
  • Use electrical testing and measuring devices to ensure quality and functionality
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Complete assignments efficiently and in accordance with safety regulations

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of electrical or related experience
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, instructions, and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving and basic math skills
  • Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for handling, assembling, and operating tools
  • Frequent use of hands and arms to reach, grasp, and manipulate components
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl during installation and assembly tasks
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, talk, and hear in the work environment
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Requires strong visual abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods in an industrial work setting
