Job description

Client Overview
Our client is a well-established food manufacturing company that fosters a supportive manufacturing environment through their focus on safety, teamwork, and high-quality maintenance practices. They are now looking for a 3rd Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$28/hr – $31/hr (with $2/hr shift differential)
Position Overview
The 3rd Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician supports plant reliability by performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and reducing machine downtime. This role is ideal with someone with previous industrial electrical maintenance experience, ideally in a food-safe setting.
Responsibilities Of The 3rd Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician
  • Perform safe and efficient maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Reduce downtime through troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Complete scheduled and on-demand maintenance.
  • Maintain and order spare parts.
  • Assist with equipment installations and adjustments.
  • Train operators on basic equipment care.
  • Follow all safety procedures and adapt to daily task variations.
Required Experience/Skills For The 3rd Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience repairing and testing electrical systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience.
  • Ability to identify and carry out permanent repairs rather than temporary repairs on equipment.
  • Mathematics knowledge in relation to maintenance activities.
  • OSHA and GMP knowledge as well as safe work habits.
  • Basic PC skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift 35 - 50 Lbs.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The 3rd Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Prior experience working 3rd shift.
Education Requirements
