Title: Electro/Mechanical Assembler I (1st Shift)

Compensation, Benefits, and Employment Type

  • Duration: 6+ month contract, possible extension or conversion
  • Pay rate: $20-$22/hr based on experience

Description:

We're seeking Electro/Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team supporting the production of precision electro-mechanical equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to grow their manufacturing career, with entry-level applicants encouraged to apply. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies according to detailed work instructions
  • Perform basic testing and inspections during the assembly process
  • Complete production documentation accurately
  • Package finished products as needed
  • Use hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and other assembly equipment
  • Read and follow assembly procedures, mechanical drawings, and written work instructions
  • Support quality, safety, and manufacturing standards
  • Assist with training and other production activities as needed

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience in medical device, electronics, automation, or other manufacturing environments is a plus
  • Soldering experience is helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and basic electrical test equipment is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
