Job description

Overview
Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client
The Work
The Applications and SharePoint Administrator II is responsible for developing front-end modifications/enhancements for system applications to meet emerging program needs. This position will work closely with program offices, subject matter experts, end users, and other stakeholders to gather system requirements and implement solutions that support training and operations. The incumbent will also provide technical support for SharePoint and other third-party applications, managing content/storage, building workflows, administering user permissions, and troubleshooting access issues as necessary.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, integrate, test, implement, and validate new features and applications based on documented project requirements.
  • Assist other team members with standard builds, operations, security, and troubleshooting in support of SharePoint and other applications/systems.
  • Collaborate with programmer team members to translate requirements into customized solutions.
  • Load and maintain content to SharePoint and other content management systems while ensuring synchronization across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with other programmers to translate requirements into customized solutions.
  • Build workflows and custom solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate/Flow.
  • Leverage the integration of Microsoft 365 applications (to include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) with SharePoint to increase efficiency and develop new processes.
  • Perform SharePoint site administration functions, including creating new views and subsites, maintaining lists and document libraries, developing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and managing user permissions/access requests.
  • Assist with audience and use-case analysis to contribute to suggestions regarding possible organization schema and structures for information and files
  • Provide technical training and prepare, with oversight, user guides for SharePoint, as well as other applications and systems
  • Assist with creating fully deployable solutions, as well as developing project plans and SOPs
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree or relevant experience/certification(s) required.
  • Must possess basic knowledge of and experience with office and administrative functions, practices and procedures.
  • Secret Clearnce is required.
  • Due to the nature of work at the client's site, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:
  • Demonstrated foundational knowledge of data organization techniques, (i.e., pattern identification, attention to detail, naming convention development, asset structuring, data management, cataloging/classification and storage methods)
  • Possesses critical thinking skills to conceptualize solutions within specified parameters.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to perform assigned duties within a collaborative team environment.
  • Entry-level experience as a front-end SharePoint Administrator.
  • Experienced with implementing solutions within specified parameters and constraints.
  • Familiarity with leveraging the integration of Microsoft 365 applications (to include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) with SharePoint (preferred).
  • Experience developing technical training tools and user guides (preferred).
  • Excellent writing/editing and analytical skills to include data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions
