Job description

JOB TITLE: Ecommerce Coordinator


SUPERVISOR: Ecommerce Manager


SALARY: $30-35/hour


DESCRIPTION: To provide support for eCommerce activities and maintenance across the Shoppe website.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, update, modify, and edit products in Shopify including product images, weights, categories, vendors, specifications, and inventory.

  • Assist in preparing products to go live on the site twice monthly, including writing product descriptions, uploading imagery, crafting alt text, meta descriptions, tagging appropriately, etc.

  • Thorough QA for all products prior to live date, ensuring all product pages are proofread, previewed, and functioning properly.

  • Maintain product collections to ensure accuracy across all categories

  • Troubleshoot any issues pertaining to the site with relation to pricing, imagery, content, etc.

  • Photoshop imagery as needed for consistent site photography

  • Maintain assets in Dropbox for all product photography including accurate file structure and naming (by SKU).

  • Assist in the maintenance of the photo shot list for product and lifestyle imagery, ensuring product is pulled and available for product photoshoots and update status once photographed and online.

  • Manage product photography shoots weekly including vintage photoshoots and relevant information (measurements, materials and product information)

  • Merchandise product across all collections weekly based on weekly analytics (top/bottom sellers, search results, etc.)

  • Maintain color asset library, adding new assets as needed.

  • Monitor products in shopify, removing and deleting one-off items as sold.

  • Maintain and support online pillow uploading and accuracy.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ year experience website and digital marketing.

  • Must be proficient in Shopify and Google Analytics.

  • Extremely detail oriented and highly organized

  • Photoshop experience

  • Self-starter with excellent writing skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS & Javascript.

  • Basic knowledge of Netsuite a plus but not required

  • Articulate and ambitious, able to multi-task and manage competing priorities

  • Must have a strategic mindset and analytical experience.

  • Excellent problem solver

  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.
