We are looking for a talented School to Work - Photographer & Editor to join our team specializing in Service for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence KY.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Deliver high-quality product imagery that drives engagement by capturing, editing, and releasing professional digital product photos that enhance the customer experience across Meritor PartsXpress and other print and online channels.

  • Ensure brand consistency and visual excellence by maintaining rigorous quality control throughout the photography and editing process, ensuring every image accurately represents products and meets company standards.

  • Increase operational efficiency by independently managing photography assignments in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing workloads effectively, and delivering projects on time with minimal supervision.

  • Leverage technical expertise to optimize image production by utilizing DSLR photography skills, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Ortery, and related software to produce clean, accurate, and visually compelling product images.

  • Support e-commerce growth initiatives by partnering with the E-Commerce team on content updates and digital projects, helping maintain an engaging and accurate online shopping experience for customers.

  • Contribute creative ideas that enhance product presentation by participating in strategic and creative concept development, identifying new approaches that improve the visual appeal and effectiveness of product photography.

  • Serve as a trusted photography resource by applying knowledge of photographic equipment, techniques, and best practices to solve challenges, improve workflows, and support continuous improvement efforts.

The Photo Editor and Photographer is a dual position that will be responsible for capturing, reviewing, editing, and releasing digital product images to be used for various print and online applications.  This position requires the ability to work in an independent, fast-paced environment. The desired candidate will be a proactive self-starter; productive with minimal direction; and is familiar with various photographic equipment (DSLR experience required) and software editing programs. The position will also include supporting the E-Commerce team with content updates, and other projects. Job Responsibilities:  Coordinates photography assignments and captures and edits high quality images Serves as a principle source of information on photographic equipment and techniques Maintains quality control throughout production of assigned photography projects Understands software applications and operation guides (Ortery, Capture One - Training Provided) Participates in strategic and creative concept development to achieve optimum photos Keeps abreast of new developments in photographic and editing technology Maintains photographic archives and documents related images for future searches Performs other duties as assigned
