QPS, LLC is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Associate I, Reception to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, vendors, and callers to our Bioanalytical department. This fully onsite, entry-level position provides professional front-desk coverage while supporting day-to-day office operations, building access and security procedures, mail and deliveries, office supplies, and general administrative needs.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities while following established procedures. This role requires sound judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to remain calm and seek guidance when handling unfamiliar situations, security concerns, or exceptions to standard processes.


Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm


No visa sponsorship (e.g. H‑1B, L‑1, E) will be provided for this active position, now or in the future. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent or unrestricted basis.

The Job

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, vendors, and callers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Support visitor check-in, badge management, building access, and security procedures.
  • Monitor front-desk activity and report security, safety, or emergency concerns.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries; prepare outgoing shipments as needed.
  • Monitor office and shared supplies and place approved orders.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, copying, and scheduling assistance.
  • Assist with meetings, catering, vendors, and facilities coordination as assigned.


Work Location

  • This job will be 100% QPS-office/facility based


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior reception, front desk, customer service, hospitality, administrative, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain professional and calm under pressure
  • Ability to follow established security, visitor management, confidentiality, and emergency procedures
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, calendars, and standard office equipment
  • Dependable, professional, service-oriented, and willing to learn company procedures and systems
