Job description

Function:
The E-Commerce Product Processor position is an entry-level role performing a variety of duties to achieve our common goal of selling donated items online for our retail store teams. This entry-level role is responsible for sorting and processing incoming products accurately, organizing products and inventory, and using technology to manage orders and inventory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Quickly and efficiently process goods across all product categories as directed.
  • Check the condition of items to ensure it meets defined quality standards.
  • Maintain established productivity goals without loss of quality of work.
  • Clean and prepare goods for sale as needed.
  • Facilitate the flow of goods to the listing stage.
  • Ensure manifests align with items as they arrive at the facility.
  • Receive, move and place carts, containers and barrels containing donations, trash, and As-Is for processing in designated areas.
  • Load and unload containers and transport product to appropriate areas.
  • Track production output as well as product levels and record on appropriate forms.
  • Place appropriate storage labels on containers.
  • Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly manner with clean-up activities performed throughout the day.
  • Record assigned metrics and complete daily reports.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Action-oriented self-starter.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Computer Literacy - familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with basic photography. (To operate mid-level digital camera and upload pictures to a computer).
  • Ability to lift and move products, stand for an extended period of time, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to various temperature extremes (hot in summer, cold in winter), moderate dust, and noise.
