Position Overview

As an entry-level Compliance Inspector, you will work independently in the field executing company-provided routes. You will conduct physical and visual inspections of underground (UST) and aboveground (AST) petroleum storage tank systems to ensure they meet federal EPA and state environmental regulations.

What You Will Do

Route Execution: Travel assigned routes, operating a company vehicle safely across various driving conditions.

Field Inspections: Perform visual and physical inspections of clients’ petroleum storage tank systems, containment sumps, and dispenser islands in outdoor environments.

Digital Data Collection: Accurately collect and organize inspection data using company-provided iOS software platforms/iPads.

Safety & Escalation: Identify, document, and report any unsafe conditions, leaks, or environmental hazards promptly.

Client Service: Serve as a professional, professional representative of 7G, addressing customer requests and collecting feedback to enhance service quality.


Requirements:

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Lifting & Handling: Regularly moves and positions inspection equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Maneuvers heavier access covers (75–100 lbs) utilizing leverage tools. 

Positioning & Mobility: Frequently stoops, bends, kneels, crouches, or reaches to access low-clearance areas, sumps, and containment basins.

Observation & Inspection: Inspects components visually, reads regulatory documents/gauges, and detects environmental hazards or petroleum odors (e.g., fuel vapors or leaks) to ensure site safety.

Communication & Driving: Drives company vehicles for extended periods and communicates effectively with team members and clients.
