Test Engineer
Job Description:
This is an entry-level engineering position that is available on the A&D RF Applications team. The individual will be responsible for test and measurement of devices, primarily for MACOM's GaN on Silicon technology, in support of applications and customer samples. On-the-job training and career growth opportunities will be provided.
Specific Responsibilities:
โ€ข Experience with test lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
โ€ข Experience withAutomation Software (C#, C++, Matlab)
โ€ข Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and plotting
Qualifications/Skills
โ€ข Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
โ€ข Between 0-3 years relevant experience
โ€ข Understanding of electronic circuit design
โ€ข Understanding of semiconductor devices
โ€ข Some experience with programming in C#, C++, Matlab
โ€ข Some experience with code repositories
โ€ข Ability to solder SMD components
โ€ข Ability to learn in a lab environment working with new types of RF test equipment and software
โ€ข Detail oriented with strong fundamentals in core engineering principles
โ€ข Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for test fixture hardware
