Job Description We are seeking a Hardware Engineering - Verification Engineer II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronics validation, board bring-up, and lab-based test execution and a proven ability to plan, execute, and analyze hardware verification to meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements from prototype through production. Responsibilities: Validate and qualify electronic hardware from prototype through production against design requirements. Perform board bring-up, bench testing, and real-time debug using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, loads, and related tools. Develop and execute validation plans and test matrices with clear pass/fail criteria traced to specifications. Troubleshoot circuit-level failures, perform root-cause analysis, and complete PCB rework as required. Capture, organize, and analyze test data; create clear lab reports and test summaries. Write, maintain, and improve test procedures and documentation. Track issues to resolution with cross-functional teams and support NPI milestones including EVT, DVT, and PVT. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years in electronics test, validation, or hardware quality engineering, or equivalent. Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals; ability to read schematics and review PCB layouts. Hands-on troubleshooting, failure analysis, and PCB rework; proficient fine-pitch soldering. Proficient with lab instrumentation: oscilloscope, DMM, function generator, power supplies, electronic loads, and LCR meter. Ability to create and execute validation plans and DVP&R, define pass/fail criteria, and trace tests to requirements. Experience with manual and/or automated tests; strong data capture, organization, and analysis. Clear written and verbal communication for lab reports, test summaries, and issue tracking. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with NPI phases (EVT/DVT/PVT), test fixtures, and design-for-test concepts. Python-based test automation, data analysis, and plotting. Experience with PCB tools such as Altium, Cadence, KiCad, or Eagle. Experience using LLM-based tools to expedite engineering workflows. Exposure to reliability and environmental testing: thermal, vibration/shock, humidity, ESD. DOE and statistics experience with clear presentation of results. Why BCforward?
