Job Description

Clinical Care: Perform thorough dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance for a diverse patient base.
Anesthesia: Administer local anesthetics effectively to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Diagnostics: Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays and conduct detailed patient assessments and charting.
Patient Education: Counsel patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized health education.
Infection Control: Implement and maintain rigorous healthcare infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
Clinical Assistance: Support the dentist during various procedures through chairside assisting and treatment room preparation.
Administration: Utilize Dentrix software to manage patient records, documentation, and scheduling accurately.

Salary Range

Full-time $52 - $57 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Requirements
  • Infection Control License
  • Licensed dental hygienist
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Licensure: Valid and current Virginia State License to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Certifications: Current X-ray certification and proficiency in administering local anesthetic injections.
Technical Skills: Competency in dental charting, patient assessment, and infection control standards.
Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude.
