Smiling Kidds Dentistry is a pediatric and Orthodontic dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to children, adolescents, and young adults in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Our team is committed to creating a positive dental experience where patients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join a fast-paced, well-established pediatric dental office. This role is best suited for someone who is organized, confident, and able to manage a high-volume schedule while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence with patients and parents.

This is not an entry-level customer service role. We are looking for someone who can quickly take ownership of the front desk and contribute to a smooth, efficient operation.

Schedule:
Monday โ€“ Friday: 7:15 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM

Rotating saturdays 8 AM-2 PM
Sunday: Closed

Position Overview:
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for managing patient flow, handling scheduling, and serving as the first point of contact for all patients and families. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and confidence in handling a busy office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a timely, professional manner
  • Answer phones and manage a high volume of calls
  • Schedule and confirm appointments accurately
  • Verify insurance and collect payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to keep the schedule running on time
  • Manage patient check-out and follow-up scheduling
  • Keep the front office organized and running efficiently

Qualifications

  • Prior dental front desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with children and parents
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Dental software experience (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Denticon, etc.) is a plus
