Job Title: Assembler
Reports To: Assembly Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Assembler position is an intermediate-level role responsible for independently performing more complex assembly tasks. This role requires a deeper understanding of technical drawings, assembly processes, and quality standards, with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble moderately complex products or systems, including electrical circuits, mechanical subassemblies, and precision components.
  • Interpret and work with advanced blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and resolve minor assembly issues.
  • Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending adjustments.
  • Train and mentor entry-level Assemblers (Assembler 1) in proper techniques and procedures.
  • Maintain and update accurate documentation and records of assembly processes.
  • Adhere to company safety guidelines and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools, testing equipment, and machinery.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards and procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor assembly issues and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
