*100% On-Site in Norco,CA* Job Summary VSolvit is seeking an Entry-Level Systems Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division in Norco, California. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers interested in reliability engineering, systems analysis, and data-driven decision making for U.S. Navy programs. The Systems Engineer will support the analysis of Navy systems using engineering principles, reliability data, and readiness metrics. The successful candidate will work alongside senior engineers to collect, analyze, and interpret technical data while developing an understanding of Navy systems, maintenance processes, and engineering methodologies. Responsibilities * Assist in collecting, analyzing, and validating engineering and reliability data.
* Support development of Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) metrics.
* Use engineering databases and analytical tools to evaluate system readiness.
* Assist with integrating failure and maintenance data from multiple sources.
* Support development of system reliability models and engineering documentation.
* Learn Navy data standards, assessment methodologies, and engineering processes.
* Participate in data extraction, validation, loading, and quality assurance activities.
* Support technical reports and engineering presentations.
* Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and customer personnel.Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
* 0-2 years of engineering experience (internships acceptable).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to learn new software tools and databases.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* U.S. Citizen.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
* Ability to work on-site in Norco, California.Preferred Qualifications * Exposure to statistics or probability.
* Familiarity with SQL, Python, MATLAB, or Power BI.
* Basic understanding of systems engineering principles.
