Job title: Data Entry & Production Processing Coordinator

We are a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Gardena, California, specializing in metal fabrication, custom roll-forming and distribution. Our team is focused on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
We are seeking a detail‐oriented and highly organized Data Entry & Production Processing Coordinator to support our production and customer service teams. This role is essential to ensuring accurate creation of production orders, timely processing of slit requirements, and maintaining reliable inventory visibility for the production manager.
Production Order Entry
- Create and enter production job orders into the system with complete accuracy.
- Verify part numbers, item setup, and required details before job creation.
- Generate and prepare all necessary labels and documentation for production.
- Ensure job statuses, quantities, dates, and tolerance settings are correctly entered.
Slit Order Processing
- Work closely with the production manager to process slit needs daily.
- Calculate required footage, yields, and material usage based on provided specifications.
- Enter slit orders into the system and ensure all related data is accurate and complete.
Inventory Monitoring & Support
- Track inventory levels to identify when production orders need to be created.
- Communicate shortages or discrepancies to the production manager promptly.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through consistent data entry and verification.
Customer Service Collaboration
- Coordinate with customer service to ensure production orders align with customer requirements.
- Enter customer information, sales order references, and delivery expectations into job orders.
- Support customer service with updates on job status, inventory availability, and production timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced production environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or production systems (Oracle experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‐functionally.
- Basic understanding of inventory processes and production workflows preferred.
