Location: This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Chandler, Arizona HQ, where you will work a combination of onsite and remote days each week.

About the role

As a Software AE – Inside, you will act as the software extension of Insight’s Inside Sales Account Executives. We will count on you to develop and close new software sales opportunities, manage partner-aligned motion, and proactively grow software and services revenue. Along the way, you will get to:

  • Act as the software extension to Insight’s Inside Sales generalist Account Executives
  • Develop and close net new software sales opportunities independently and in coordination with Account Executives and support resources
  • Identify and create new software sales opportunities with Insight partners including, but not limited to, Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, VMware, Citrix, Adobe, Red Hat, and others
  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing client engagements across Insight’s software and services portfolio

  • Understanding of software licensing models and pricing programs
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to manage opportunity and pipeline tracking using CRM tools
