Job description

Do you have a passion for fashion, trends and products? Use your creativity to produce fun and accurate content for customer online shopping experiences! You will be able to view analytics to see how your ideas drive online sales.
This entry-level position will report directly to our eCommerce department at our South Corporate office (1800 Innovation Point, 5th Floor, Fort Mill, South Carolina) on Monday through Thursday and will work remotely on Friday from home.
Enjoy working at our South Corporate office located at 1800 Innovation Point, 5th Floor, Fort Mill, SC. Primary office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm with the option to work offsite on Friday.
Starting rate: $21.00/hour.
Summary:
The Associate eCommerce Content Specialist supports the eCommerce team by assisting with online product content creation, ensuring accurate product information, and maintaining product categories. This entry-level role helps drive online sales and improves the customer experience by maintaining accurate and engaging product listings.
  • Assists with creating and publishing clear, engaging, and SEO-friendly product descriptions.
  • Coordinates product samples to prepare items for online listing.
  • Conducts basic research on product features and specifications using provided resources.
  • Helps maintain accurate product categories for site navigation, supporting the eCommerce On-Site Merchandiser and the eCommerce Content Specialist.
  • Performs routine audits and quality checks for product listings, including verifying product names, descriptions, and photography to ensure accurate and consistent product content, pricing, and categorization.
  • Collaborates with merchandising, customer service, and vendors to address basic content discrepancies and product questions.
  • Develops foundational product knowledge of current merchandise assortments

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and ability to create and maintain simple spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, maintaining multiple projects on an on-going basis with shifting priorities. Must be able to easily embrace and manage change
  • Strong follow up and follow through to ensure all tasks are fully completed.
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Creative writing experience along with experience writing prompts using AI (such as ChatGPT) preferred.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and processes strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an aptitude for critical thinking.
  • A positive attitude and a great sense of humor that relates to our "fun-loving" brand is a plus.
  • This position requires the ability to accurately discern color, with or without accommodation.
