Position Title: Well Tender I
Department: Field Operations
Location: Northern Pennsylvania / Southern Tier, New York
Employment Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Production Foreman
Company Overview
PennHills Resources, LLC is an independent oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company engaged in the development, operation, and maintenance of conventional oil and gas wells throughout Northern Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier of New York. The company operates and maintains production infrastructure including well sites, tank batteries, flow lines, and associated field facilities.
Position Summary
The Well Tender I position supports the monitoring and operation of conventional oil and gas wells and associated production equipment. This entry-level position performs routine inspections, tank gauging, production monitoring, and basic maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced field personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: the following listing may also include other duties as assigned.
  1. Perform routine inspections of oil and gas wells and associated production equipment.
  2. Gauge tanks and record production data.
  3. Inspect wellheads, flow lines, tank batteries, and lease equipment.
  4. Assist with chemical treating for corrosion, paraffin, and scale control.
  5. Monitor wells and equipment for paraffin buildup or scale accumulation.
  6. Assist with paraffin removal procedures including mechanical or chemical treatment.
  7. Perform routine Bradenhead pressure checks and document readings.
  8. Assist with rod pump monitoring and troubleshooting.
  9. Maintain well sites including mowing, brush cutting, and site cleanup.
  10. Report leaks, spills, safety hazards, or abnormal well conditions.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn oilfield equipment operation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Oilfield or mechanical experience preferred but not required.
