As an Entry Level Controls Engineer, you will often be involved in designing, programming, and maintaining automated control systems for manufacturing lines, industrial machinery, or building automation projects. Your typical responsibilities might include configuring PLCs, developing HMI screens, conducting system testing, and assisting with troubleshooting both in the office and on-site. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, project managers, and technicians to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Tucker Mechanical, Inc. is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. The APM will provide support and documentation for project management. May be assigned to specific area discipline (i.e., submittals, drawings, etc.) or general management. This is the entry level position for project management.
Educational and experience requirements include: 4-year engineering degree, construction management degree or equivalent field experience. Beginner’s knowledge of mechanical construction equipment, material, drawings, and specifications will be taught. Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills will be essential for further advancement. Sensitive to the essence of time, unwilling to procrastinate, and self-motivated.
