Easterns Automotive Group is looking for enthusiastic General Service / Lube Technicians to join our high-volume reconditioning team in Sterling. This entry-level role is perfect for a motivated individual eager to launch or advance a career in automotive service. You’ll perform routine maintenance—oil changes, brake and tire inspections, light repairs, and test drives—on vehicles bound for our 11 retail locations. We provide the on-the-job training you need to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform oil and filter changes, rotate tires, and top-off fluids

  • Conduct brake, tire, and basic safety inspections; document results

  • Road-test vehicles to confirm service quality and diagnose simple issues

  • Replace wiper blades, light bulbs, batteries, and other minor components

  • Maintain clean, organized bay and follow all safety guidelines

  • Complete service checklists and repair orders accurately and legibly

  • Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs as needed



Qualifications
  • Prior lube-tech or general service experience preferred—but not required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team

  • Good time-management and problem-solving abilities

  • Professional demeanor and effective verbal & written communication

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Capability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
