Job description

Controls Electrician/Panel Builder

Georgetown, KY

The hiring company is a distributor of machinery and provider of installation services with a concentration on equipment for the automotive industry.

This division is a Systems Integrator division which manages projects related to modification of machine-to-machine conveyor systems and design & fabrication of custom-made equipment to OEM and Tier 1 automotive manufacturing plants. We are seeking a full-time employee in which the candidate will be responsible for the control panel building, secondary wiring, and commissioning of various material handling control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Read electrical blueprints, build, and wire various control panel components.
  • Assemble control panels which include PLC, power supply, motor control and safety circuits.
  • Maintain organization of Company Panel Shop
  • Debugging equipment after fabrication
  • Secondary wiring, Conveyor and Machine Cells

Requirements

  • An Associate Degree in a related field, or similar certification or on the job work
  • Approximately 25% of travel is required (length varies with each project)
