Job description

The Content Manager is responsible for the overall content strategy including the development of content and functional solutions in collaboration internally and externally across all digital and social media platforms. This role will have oversight for projects related to member websites as well as digital assets under the Digital Strategy team. In addition, this manager communicates and facilitates the activities and deliverables associated with business requirements that are both content and functional, business processes, options and alternatives, validation and testing of solutions, training, implementation and possible ongoing support for solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Management team through timely content delivery requests.
  • Receive and maintain status of required web content through JIRA ticketing system.
  • Implement web content into the Content Management System (CMS) per Creative Agency and/or Client request.
  • Verify accuracy of web content requests in multiple project environment(s).
  • Identify issues in environment(s) pertaining to content, layout and presentation once published.
  • Communicate status on content delivery to internal MRM team(s).
  • Recognize and escalate issues through JIRA ticketing system as necessary to resolve issues.
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with internal MRM departments.
  • Party plan, fundraise, tailgate, and occasional toast with a cocktail of his/her choice.
  • Manage & organize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Delegate tasks to Associate Content Manager and offshores team(s).
  • Interact and support Client and/or Creative Agency on new functionality for content delivery planning and development with support from Leadership.
  • Provide estimates on new functionality with support from leadership.
  • Create and present documentation for cross-training and support of Associate, Content Managers and offshore team(s).

  • Detail oriented with ability to work in dynamic environment, with shifting deadlines and deliverables.
