The Mathematics Discipline at Delta College is seeking a full-time tenure track faculty member committed to equity, retention, and completion for student success. The instructor will be responsible for effective teaching in the face-to-face, blended, and online classroom. Potential candidates will have the ability to teach online as well as face-to-face and blended/hybrid courses during the evening, at multiple locations (Downtown Centers), and nontraditional times as needed. In addition, we seek candidates whose pedagogy, research, and continuous professional development have prepared them to engage with the college's commitment to belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion (BEDI).
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Delta College.
- Demonstrate an inclusive and culturally relevant philosophy of teaching that provides learning opportunities that meet the needs of all students.

Required Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in mathematics or a related discipline with a minimum of 18 credit hours in graduate level mathematics content.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom climate and designing curricula that foster greater sense of community.
- Recent experience in teaching mathematics in an active learning environment.
- Experience using a variety of teaching modalities, educational technology, and delivery methods including online.
- Ability to teach on multiple Delta campuses and online (asynchronous and synchronous).
