Job description

Job Title: Entry Level Painter

Job Description:

This position involves working in a manufacturing facility focused on structural steel, components for the construction industry, and various other metal projects. You will be asked to assist with preparing parts for paint, masking and taping parts, material handling, spraying wet paint and primer coatings ,and touching up missed spots.

** We are willing to train someone with minimal painting experience looking to start a career in this trade **

Responsibilities

  • Prepare projects for coatings by washing, taping, and masking surfaces
  • Spray wet paint and primer on metal materials
  • Inspect final coatings and complete touch-up painting as needed
  • Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to move materials

Requirements:

  • 1+ year painting experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience spraying paint using HVLP, Airless or Air-Assisted sprayers preferred
  • Commercial, Industrial, or Residential painting will be considered
