As an Entry Level Construction Expert Witness, you will often assist with cases involving construction defects, contract disputes, code compliance, or workplace safety issues. Your responsibilities may include reviewing project documentation, conducting site visits, and preparing preliminary reports for more senior experts on the team. Collaboration with attorneys, engineers, and other construction professionals is common, allowing you to gain insight into both legal processes and technical aspects of construction. This exposure provides valuable experience and opportunities for career growth within forensic consulting or expert testimony roles.

Familiarity with technical tools like CAD software, project documentation systems, and certification in areas like OSHA safety standards are typically beneficial. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear verbal and written communication skills help convey complex technical findings effectively. These skills ensure accurate, credible expert testimony and reliable analysis in legal and dispute resolution processes.
